The Process

Future Leadership conducted a thorough search, leveraging our extensive networks and conducting in-depth research into relevant clinical informatics leaders, particularly focusing on candidates from Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and Canada.

We identified both private and public sector leaders with significant experience across different healthcare systems. Leading candidates were approached for discussions and interviews, with a focus on evaluating their clinical, informatics, and systems knowledge, as well as their ability to influence and lead dispersed networks of professionals and stakeholders. Additionally, we assessed each candidate’s fit with the organisation’s values and executive leadership culture.

A shortlist of five candidates was developed, including leaders with strong experience in the UK and Canada.
