The appointee would need to be an inspiring educational leader who can consider the future of education delivery while staying connected with contemporary practices to drive a culture of excellence. In addition, they would need to have a strong ability to relate and build confidence in the community.

The Process
Future Leadership undertook a comprehensive briefing with the Board Chair and the full School Board.
In addition, the Future Leadership team visited the school to meet with other key stakeholders prior to conducting a national search, utilising broad candidate and referral partner networks. The Future Leadership team sought to identify a candidate with the ability to focus on continuous improvement from an evolutionary perspective, building and developing the current approach that the current leadership team had built. The selection panel considered an initial list of seven candidates, with four candidates progressing to panel interviews.
