The Brief
A values-based bank in Australia, known for its commitment to positive economic, social, environmental, and cultural impact, sought to build on its Leadership Capability Framework.
After reviewing qualitative feedback from a Coaching Circles Evaluation Report, the bank identified ongoing learning needs and partnered with Future Leadership to develop and deliver a series of 90-minute Leadership Masterclasses. These masterclasses aimed to address key areas of leadership that would benefit employees across various functions, building on but not limited to participants of the previous Coaching Circles.

The Process
Future Leadership collaborated with the client to design and deliver five targeted masterclasses. The topics were selected based on the specific needs identified through feedback and included:
- Influencing for Impact: Understanding the psychology of influence, including power and status, effective influencing tactics, and strategies for dealing with resistant stakeholders.
- Building Psychological Safety: Exploring the importance of psychological safety, how to measure it, and how to create it through team practices and rituals.
- Giving and Receiving Feedback: Applying models like SARA and SCARF to understand reactions to feedback and to set up successful feedback conversations.
- Leader as Coach to Develop Teams: Introducing the GROW model and different coaching styles to enhance team development.
- Leadership Mindsets to Navigate Complexity and Change: Understanding critical leadership mindsets that unlock curiosity and adaptability in complex environments.
