The Process

Leaders at the organisation operate in a matrixed structure with dual reporting lines and the need to influence without authority. The organisation is also quite diversified operating across multiple asset classes, and as such, leaders are required to ‘think across’ the business. We worked with the organisation to scope workshops on Influence and Communication to be delivered to senior leaders across the Investment Office, Development and more.

The scope of workshops has included:

  • Face-to-face delivery in Sydney and Melbourne.
  • Building skills in communication – including the delivery of a World Café for 50 leaders to navigate scenarios such as complex stakeholder negotiations, influencing architects and other SMEs, community engagement and more.
  • Building a common understanding of what good communication looks like at the organisation.
  • The psychology of influence and key influencing tactics aligned with status and power.
