The Position

Roseville College is seeking a Director of Business Operations to work closely with the Principal and as a key member of the College Executive, providing strategic and operational leadership across the College’s business administration, financial management and resource stewardship. Reporting to the Principal, the Director plays a critical role in supporting the effective and sustainable operation of the College, leading the Business Services portfolio in a manner that advances the Roseville College Vision, Mission and Values and reflects its Christian foundation.

Leading a broad professional services portfolio, the Director oversees key operational areas including finance, enrolments, human resources, facilities, risk and compliance, information technology, and business systems. The Director also provides governance support to the College Council, acting as secretary and ensuring compliance with relevant financial and corporate regulatory requirements. Central to the role is fostering a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement, with high expectations for quality, fiscal responsibility, reporting and risk management.

As a senior member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Director contributes to the development and implementation of College strategy and major initiatives, including campus and master planning. This includes providing advice, financial modelling and analysis to support informed decision-making, leading the delivery of strategic projects, and exercising prudent financial stewardship through budgeting, forecasting, reporting and long-term resource planning. The Director also oversees facilities and campus operations, builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and cultivates a high‑performing, service‑oriented professional team aligned with the College’s Christian mission and values.

 

The Organisation

Roseville College is an established Anglican independent day school for girls on Sydney’s North Shore, educating more than 1,000 students from Preparatory to Year 12. The College is supported by a committed and expert workforce comprising 99 full‑time equivalent teachers and 47 support staff across operations, administration, technology, grounds and maintenance.
