The Position
St Catherine’s School Sydney is seeking an innovative and strategic leader for the role of Head of Junior School. The successful candidate will shape exceptional teaching and learning, while ensuring outstanding pastoral care and wellbeing for every student. The leader will drive academic excellence, foster innovation, champion student wellbeing and pastoral care, and uphold the School’s vision of empowering girls through education.
Reporting to the Headmistress, the Head of Junior School leads the day-to-day operations of the Junior School, ensuring each student is known, valued and supported to flourish. With oversight of student wellbeing, learning and daily life, the Head of Junior School provides visible and responsive leadership that promotes a cohesive and vibrant learning environment. Working closely within the Executive Leadership Team, this role ensures alignment of Junior School priorities with the School’s strategic vision and values.
